Before we begin, I thought it important to dictate a set of presuppositions that ought to accompany the millions of Calhounites that will undoubtably flock here.

Here follows the bedrock of the Blog
[Also known as the 5 Dictums]:

[1] I am right, always and forever.
[2] When I am not right (which usually indicates that I am absent), others are still wrong.
[3] There is a correct morality, which I know as a result of Dictum 1.
[4] There is absolute truth ,which I know as a result of Dictum 1.
[5] When the dust settles, I am the Sledgehammer and my enemy is the Rubble.

Posts with come in three forms:

[1] Proclamations; an authoritative statement with implicit explanations.
[2] Arguments; a line of debate laced with evidence, which comes to the inevitable conclusion that follows from Dictum 1.
[3] Orations; speech in transcript form, carrying the force of the Red-Tailed Hawk's cry.
